Interlude from Kindergarten – Student of the Week

I may have mentioned before that B’s Kindergarten is Kind Of A Big Deal. His teacher is serious about her job, and, in turn, the students are serious about their jobs. This suits B just fine, as he is VERY SERIOUS about everything.

.

One of the rights of kindergarten-hood is being chosen Student of the Week. B was chosen waaaay back in October. At the end of the week, the Student of the Week gets to bring home a special stuffed friend (B’s is a cat he named Black Eye Brown Eye), and write a journal entry in the special Student of the Week Kindergarten Class Journal.

I love that he describes his Granddad as “my moms father”:

B wrote about what he and his new friend did over the weekend.
