Brains, brains, brains

Last night, I spent two hours up to my elbows in pumpkin guts.  I even made up a little song to accompany the gourd lobotomies:

Brains, Brains, Brains!!

Frightening, for so many reasons.

B was fascinated, as long as he didn’t have to touch the pumpkin guts.

Mr. wanted nothing to do with it, either.  As I sat there, hacking away at the pumpkins, the boys just watched and occasionally offered suggestions and/or advice.

Wimps.

Or maybe they just didn’t want to get too close to the knife wielding lady singing

Brains, Brains, Brains!!

I packed our carved pumpkins into the car this morning, so they can join us in the ‘Field for trick-or-treating!
