Creative play, of the unstructured, child-directed, make-believe variety, is important for childhood development, so much so that it is a guaranteed right in the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child.


So I figure, the painting cancels out the Thomas the Tank Engine t-shirt he’s wearing under that smock….
